YMCA Summer Day Camps
LIMITED SPACE! Join the Bluffton Family YMCA June through August for a fun-filled summer for your child! Bluffton YMCA Day Camp provides an exciting setting for your children to learn and have fun. We have a summer of fun-filled activities planned such as science, park visits, swimming, arts & crafts, games, nature walks, field trips, music, sports clinics. Quality staff will guide kids through a summer of discovery as they explore the world around them.
All activities are designed to be fun and stimulating. Campers work together in many activities which lead to the development of teamwork skills, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships. In addition, campers gain an understanding of the YMCA’s character development values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
YMCA Day Camp is a full day of activities for children ages 6-11. Camp will run Monday – Friday for 12 weeks of the summer, June through August. Trips are included in the theme weeks and students will travel by walking.
When:
YMCA Day Camp runs Monday-Friday from 9am until 4pm until August. Registration packets will be available at the front desk after January 1st. YMCA Day Camp is a full day of activities for children ages 6-11.
Before care available: 7:30-9a.m.
After care available 4-5:30p.m.
Camp:
There will be plenty of games, songs, and crafts based on each week’s theme. Youth will also spend most of their day outside exploring, playing games, and making crafts.

Who can attend Summer Day Camp?
Summer Day Camp is open to children entering grades 1–5.
What are the camp hours?
Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Is before or after care available?
Yes!

After Care: 4:00–5:30 p.m.
What should my child wear to camp?
Campers should come dressed for active play and outdoor fun. Please be sure they wear tennis shoes.
🚫 No slides, sandals, or backless shoes are allowed.
What should my child bring each day?
Each camper should bring:

Sunscreen (campers must be able to apply it themselves)
Will campers be outside?
Yes! Campers will spend the majority of their day outdoors, playing games, doing crafts, and participating in fun group activities.
Is sunscreen required?
Yes. Sunscreen is required, and campers must be able to apply it independently.
